Peter Hockenhull
Pete is a lifelong outdoor enthusiast and ultra-endurance cyclist, born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. His passion for cycling extended to being the event director of several bicycle traded shows, as well as the organizer of a number of road cycling and mountain biking events. A married father of three, he still calls Calgary home, in the foothills of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Pete is obsessed with road cycling, gravel and mountain biking, as well as trail running, hiking and camping. Pete is also the co-event director of the Crowsnest Pass 100 Race Series (www.crowsnestpass100.com) and is the host of the Everesting Podcast (www.everesting.cc).
Laval St. Germain
Laval is a Canadian adventurer, airline captain, outdoor athlete, cyclist, trail runner, adventure racer, fitness nut & dad.
To date, the only Canadian to have summited Mount Everest without the use of supplemental oxygen, & the holder of the fastest ever solo ocean rowing crossing of the North Atlantic Ocean from mainland Canada to mainland France. Laval has climbed to the summit of the highest point on each of the 7 continents, & to the highest point of 26 countries…so far 😉. Laval & his wife Janet, call Calgary, Canada home.
